Step 1 : Connect to SMC Box
Through LAN port(http://192.168.2.1/) or WAN port(http://IP from ISP:8080/) connect to SMC Personal Gateway. The default page show as below.
Use smcadmin default password logon then enter the main page as below.
Step 2 : Configure Basic SIP Account setting
Click VOIP on left hand side.
Then select SIP setting will get the SIP setup page as below.
Modify SIP license port to 5060. Set SIP proxy IP and port to 216.123.152.5(or the same as SIP Agent address from register confirmation e-mail) and 5060.
Setup register server to 216.123.152.5(or the same as SIP Agent address from register confirmation e-mail).
Register server port also set to 5060. Register server expire time set to 40.
User ID must setup the same as ‘Local ID’ from register confirmation e-mail.
Display name can set to anything(but not allow space or special character).
User Authentication Name must setup the same as Authentication ID from register confirmation e-mail.
Password also the same as register confirmation e-mail.
Step 3 : Configure Phone Call Setting
Click VOIP advanced setting. Modify Time for packet size transmission to 20ms to reduce bandwidth consumed.
Click Save button then click confirm windows to save setting.
